White Claw Refashions Old Can Tabs Into Chainmail-Like ‘Claw Bag’ For Seltzers

To make its mark at New York Fashion Week 2023, alcoholic beverage brand White Claw showed up with its first foray into accessories—the CLAW bag.

This chainmail-style crossbody carrier, which will no doubt be perfect for bringing around a stash of seltzers, was created in collaboration with the fashion brand Tombogo.

Intriguingly, unlike typical bags, the one-of-a-kind creation wasn’t made out of cloth or fabric-like materials. Instead, White Claw upcycled unwanted tabs from its own cans to create the eye-catching adornment.

The carrier’s knitted base holds the tabs together, while an additional strap allows wearers to wrap the bag around their shoulders for a convenient statement piece that’ll ensure a drink is never too far away.
