Casio Turns Iconic G-Shock Watches Into Tougher Fully Metal Timepieces

Following its joint release with Coca-Cola featuring wristwatches inspired by the beverage’s iconic glass bottles, Casio recently unveiled its latest line of G-Shock shock-resistant watches.

These four new models, the GMW-B5000PC, GMW-B5000BPC, GM-B2100PC, and GM-B2100BPC, are the brand’s take on full-metal timepieces, available in vibrant colors and special gradations.

Interestingly, the shock-resistant iterations come in the form of some of the watchmaker’s most popular sellers, including the GMW-B5000 and GM-B2100, but with a twist.

The watch faces of these new versions feature multicolored schemes and gradations inspired by the diverse and determined character of those who appreciate toughness—just like the metal the timepieces are made out of.

For instance, the GMW-B5000PC and GMW-B5000BPC models showcase a striking blue/green gradation achieved through glass vapor deposition around the digital face.

To enhance their visual appeal further, these iterations include accent colors like red and yellow in the feature indications and inner frame line, creating an expressive appearance.

On the other hand, the GM-B2100PC and GM-B2100BPC watches have dials with a base tone of black, complemented by color gradations on the hour marks and watch hands.

The GM-B2100PC opts for a purple/blue gradation, while the GM-B2100BPC goes for warm-hued orange/red gradation, both of which harmoniously complement the black components.
