Pokémon & Van Gogh Museum Tease Surprise Collaboration Together

With one of them being a franchise about monsters with special powers, and the other being one of the world’s most famous museums, it’s safe to say that Pokémon and the Van Gogh Museum are of different leagues.
Yet, the two have chosen each other in an unexpected partnership. A delightful new teaser depicts Pikachu and Eevee running around a landscape of sunflowers and windmills, two trademarks often seen in Vincent van Gogh’s masterpieces.
To the duo’s amazement, the sky quickly shifts into a vision of brushstrokes, leaving them starry, starry-eyed, indeed.

Back on the ground, the blooms transform into a crop of Sunflora.

Beyond this striking video, there’s not much to know about what the forthcoming Pokémon x Van Gogh Museum collaboration will offer. However, all will be revealed when it launches on September 28.
You’d never link pocket monsters with the famed Post-Impressionist painter. All the more likely this tie-in will be super effective!
