Apple’s iPhone 15 Pro Could Change Color From Your Grip, Luckily There’s A Fix
Apple’s newest iPhone 15 Pro saw the introduction of a lighter body made out of grade 5 titanium, which placed it as the lightest iPhone in its roster and, as of recently, the most fingerprint-prone.
Pesky fingerprints dotted all over your shiny new smartphone can already be an annoyance on its own, but users of the newly launched device have found that with just a few days of use, their touch has begun to change the color of the metal.
Before you decide not to purchase the new iPhone because of that, it should be noted that these are “temporary” discolorations.
Of course, such a frustration didn’t go unnoticed by eagle-eyed users, and many came forward online speculating why this might be happening.

In response to these observations, Apple has come forward with a solution for worried users. A simple swipe with a soft, slightly damp, lint-free cloth should do the trick in restoring the frame to its original color.
For those inclined to use cleaning wipes, Apple offers a green light for Clorox Disinfecting Wipes or any disinfectants that contain 70% isopropyl alcohol or 75% ethyl alcohol to keep your phone pristine. However, a word of caution: steer clear of products that contain bleach or hydrogen peroxide. Additionally, Apple advises against introducing moisture into any of the iPhone’s openings, so take heed.
According to PC Mag, similar concerns have surfaced regarding Apple’s FineWoven material, found in accessories like cases and wallets. Exposure to saltwater or certain substances may also lead to discoloration or damage.
