Wonder Bread Shows How To DIY Dog Costume To Turn Your Loafer Into A Loaf

Wonder Bread is gathering four-legged friends whose barks are greater than their bites and turning them into packaged pooches.

The maker of sliced bread has shared instructions on how to craft a Wonder Dog Costume using easily accessible materials.

While the DIY comes just in time for Halloween preparations, it’s, in actual fact, part of a diverse showcase spotlighting Canadian fans’ inspired creations that are just as innovative as sliced bread.

For nearly a century, the soft white loaf with its primary-colored logo has served as a muse for creativity, sparking a wide range of imaginative creations both culinary and artistic, from pop-art pieces to candles and earrings. Now, it’s celebrating these one-of-a-kind masterpieces on the Wonder Shop as part of a new campaign called It Starts with Wonder, created by advertising agency Rethink.

For the dog costume, dreamed up by a fan named Mika, you’ll need clear and white vinyl to recreate the plastic packaging, an elastic ribbon, adhesive velcro, a printer, and sticker paper. Having a sewing machine will help, though it’s not necessary.

The tutorial includes a free printable to flaunt the Wonder branding on your pup.

Besides these instructions to transform mutts into hot dogs, the new website lets you shop dozens of Wonder Bread-themed fanmade products, as well as access creative recipes incorporating the pantry staple.
