Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company is embarking on a new international marketing campaign known as Leave Better, seeking to redefine travel and the hotel experience by positioning a stay at The Ritz-Carlton as a catalyst for personal growth and self-discovery.
The refresh poses a thought-provoking question to travelers: “How will a stay leave you?” Highlighting the potential for lasting memories, meaningful connections, newfound inspiration, and a sense of revitalization through a tailored transformative stay, the venture encourages guests to reflect on their experience’s impact.
The Ritz-Carlton’sLeave Better focuses on personal growth during hotel stays, using metaphors and abstract visuals to convey transformation. Instead of going down the traditional route and showcasing people enjoying amenities, it employs visuals like a bud becoming a flower, winter turning to spring, an egg hatching into a bird, and an oyster revealing a pearl.
An anthem and hero videos elaborate on these concepts, while print advertisements provide still image representations. The campaign spans multiple countries, with Condé Nast assisting in distribution.
Leave Betterwas developed in collaboration with agency partner Team One, and will be communicated through various channels across international markets, including digital video, print, digital display, and paid social media.
Recently, the brand has expanded its footprint into new global destinations, including Mexico City, Melbourne, and Fukuoka. It has also ventured into dynamic neighborhoods such as NoMad in Manhattan and introduced The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection.
