PUMA has joined hands with NBA sensation LaMelo Ball to raise awareness about breast cancer.
This partnership sees PUMA Hoops teaming up with Susan G. Komen, the world’s leading nonprofit organization dedicated to breast cancer research and advocacy.
Throughout the month of October, the sportswear giant will be launching a special campaign aimed at making a difference in the lives of those affected by this disease. The culmination of this initiative is the MB.01 BCA shoe—the latest addition to Ball’s ‘Rare Reserve’ line of sneakers.
This specialedition of the basketball star’s signature shoe features an all-pink colorway, combining style with innovative Puma technology like Nitrofoam to enhance one’s game on the court.
A delicate pastel ribbon, a symbol of compassion and commitment to breast cancer research and awareness, is embroidered on the tongue silhouette.
As part of the launch, Puma Hoops will donate US$20,000 to the Susan G. Komen Foundation in a show of support for the organization’s efforts.
The PUMA MB.01 BCA shoe is priced at US$135 and will be available for purchase online, the Puma mobile app, at the Puma NYC flagship store, and at select Foot Locker and Kids Foot Locker locations.
