Canada Goose is back with a captivating fall ad campaign, Live in the Open, lensed by the iconic Annie Leibovitz. This campaign steps into the spotlight to showcase their apparel and celebrate women’s strength and individuality.
Three remarkable women from diverse backgrounds take center stage: Sheila Atim, a multifaceted artist excelling in acting, music, writing, and composition; Sophie Darlington, an accomplished wildlife filmmaker and cinematographer; and Kimberly Newell, an Olympic ice hockey goalie.
Set against the backdrop of New Mexico, the same landscape that once inspired the legendary Georgia O’Keeffe, this campaign beautifully captures the essence of fearless and visionary women, both past and present.
Leibovitz brought forward her typical visual storytelling by using the aird landscape and lighting to weave its history with O’Keeffe and the influential lives of the women featured here.
“I loved these women—and their compelling stories,” said Leibovitz. “We were all bewitched by the power of the New Mexico landscape. Bringing them together in such an incredible, natural environment was very inspiring.”
Leibovitz, who previously collaborated with Canada Goose for the fall 2022 campaign, once again crafts a riveting narrative through her lens.
This global campaign will grace various platforms, including social media, talent hubs, Canada Goose’s e-commerce channels, and select retail stores in Los Angeles, Boston, and Chicago.
