Moët & Chandon toasts to its impressive 280th anniversary with the introduction of the Collection Impériale Création No. 1, a cuvée that has been carefully curated with seven distinct vintages to pay homage to the brand’s rich history.
The release of Collection Impériale Création No. 1 is the inaugural offering in a series that will see new additions every two years, culminating in the brand’s 300th-anniversary celebration.
To celebrate the event, Moët & Chandon held a dinner at the Hôtel de Bourrienne, a private residence that once invited guests like Napoleon to vacation in.
In a creative collaboration, Moët & Chandon has joined forces with contemporary artist Daniel Arsham to produce a centerpiece and other limited edition collectibles.
Arsham spent some time in the Maison with cellar master Benôit Gouez, where the two discovered a stained-glass window in the chateau’s cellar. From there, Arsham weaved his avant-garde artistry into creating a special bottle featuring cherubs with trumpets, creeping vines, and the mansion itself, topped off with his signature crystallizing effect.
These 85 bottles serve as unique time capsules, each a collector’s item that reflects the essence of Moët & Chandon.
These limited-edition bottles will have a permanent place in the champagne house’s cellars, serving as a symbolic representation of the legacy of Moët & Chandon.
