In celebration of Disney’s 100-year legacy, a global auction is now open for bids, offering enthusiasts the opportunity to own unique items inspired by the magic of the studios, including Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm, and 20th Century Studios.
This auction, dubbed Create 100, will go towards benefitting the Make-A-Wish charity.
Fans can choose from an array of exclusive items, artworks, and experiences generously donated by visionary creators—each carrying a personal connection to beloved Disney characters.
Some of the standout items up for grabs include Beyoncé’s iconic ‘Black is King’ catsuit; sculpted artwork by Cactus Plant Flea Market; and a portrait of Kate Moss, inspired by Disney’s Tinker Bell, crafted by Charlotte Tilbury’s David Downton.
For those who prefer artworks, the sale will feature a portrait inspired by Mufasa from Disney’s The Lion King by Meji Alabi and Mayowa Alabi and a life-size hariko papier-mâché Yoda crafted by NIGO.
Along with the auction, the studios will donate US$1 million to Make-A-Wish globally to support the granting of life-changing wishes for children battling critical illnesses.
Over the past four decades, the duo has granted more than 150,000 wishes to children worldwide, ranging from shopping sprees and studio visits to theme park adventures, cruises, talent meet-and-greets, and more.
