Tesla Bulletproof-Tests Cybertruck À La ‘Al Capone’ With A Tommy Gun

Tesla’s elusive Cybertruck has been sighted in the wild in conditions where it has clearly seen better days. Not only has its cyberpunk fantasy been marred by fingerprints and stains, but the pickup has also just taken to the road with holes punctured into its stainless steel exoskeleton.
The latter appearance, documented in a video by a fan, shows the long-awaited vehicle driving on a highway with its exterior being riddled with bullet holes.

CEO Elon Musk confirmed that this was the aftermath of an “Al Capone-style” test for bulletproof quality, explaining that the company had exhausted all the rounds in a Tommy gun to validate the truck’s extreme durability.
“No bullets penetrated into the passenger compartment,” Musk reported.
Though, it’s worth stating that the team shot at the steel-made parts of the pickup, and not the so-called “bulletproof” glass windows, which notoriously shattered after Musk threw a steel ball at the Cybertruck during a very early preview.
More will be revealed when Tesla finally presents the finalized Cybertruck at its November 30 event.
