Marvel Studios Captures ‘Loki’ Short Film On Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra

Samsung has taken a page out of Apple’s book by releasing its own mini epic film shot entirely on a smartphone.


Following in the footsteps of Apple’s iPhone films—the latest of which was an entire K-pop video—the South Korean company recently partnered with Disney’s Marvel Studios to create All Hail Loki.


The smartphone-shot spot, which was captured on the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, seamlessly connects to the multiverse of Marvel’s Loki Season 2, currently streaming on Disney+.

 


The special endeavor was directed by Kasra Farahani, who was also at the helm for an episode of the Loki series.

For the unfamiliar, the clip tells the tale of a Time Variance Authority agent who embarks on a quest to locate the elusive God of Mischief, Loki.


Armed with the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, the agent utilizes the phone’s advanced features to traverse through time and uncover the whereabouts of Loki—showcasing the highlights of the S23 Ultra.


As an added bonus, customers who purchase the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra can enjoy a complimentary 12-month subscription to the streaming service.
