Skechers Enters The Basketball Arena With Its Very Own NBA-Approved Sneakers

Skechers is stepping onto the hardwood with its very first line of technical basketball shoes just as the NBA season tips off.

Set to launch next week, the brand’s debut basketball shoe collection introduces two distinct mid-top styles: SKX Resagrip and SKX FLOAT, skillfully blending innovative technologies with signature comfort.

Notably, Skechers has enlisted the New York Knicks’ power forward, Julius Randle, and the Los Angeles Clippers’ shooting guard, Terance Mann, as the inaugural professional athletes to wear these sneakers.

The SKX Resagrip model is tailored for players who zip around the court with lightning speed, demanding next-level cushioning and responsiveness for those quick, explosive movements.

It boasts Goodyear Resagrip Technology with a unique outsole configuration, ensuring that players can play hard while staying laser-focused on their game.

In addition, the SKX FLOAT is meant for players in pursuit of game-changing stability, as the kicks incorporate strategically placed TPU elements to lock the foot securely in place.

The shoe features a lightweight Swirl Tech design for a better court feel, and a Goodyear outsole for enhanced traction.

Both styles come equipped with Skechers Hyper Burst cushioning in the midsole, ensuring optimal comfort during even the most intense of matches. A Hyper Burst Pro sockliner adds an extra layer of cushioning for added comfort.
