Balenciaga Unveils First-Ever Skiwear For Luxurious Fun In The Snow

Balenciaga is set to make its mark in the world of ski slopes and winter sports with the launch of its first-ever Balenciaga Skiwear collection.

Scheduled to debut on November 15, 2023, this collection offers a wide range of ready-to-wear clothing, accessories, equipment, and gear designed specifically for those who love the snow.

Apart from the typical apparel, the capsule introduces functional athletic products such as snowboards, skis, helmets, and poles for downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, or hiking.

When it comes to clothing, shoppers can choose from an array of parkas and cargo pants made from membrane-bonded technical ripstop fabric.

Interestingly, these pieces are equipped with integrated snow skirts, sophisticated ventilation systems, battery life-saving pockets, and ski pass holders for ultimate convenience.

Additionally, jackets and vests in quilted matte nylon, along with ski pants in bonded stretch nylon and close-fitting fleece jackets, pay homage to Balenciaga’s classic silhouettes, including the iconic Hourglass Jacket and the Puffer.

To ensure optimal comfort and protection, the outerwear in the Balenciaga Skiwear collection is treated to be water-repellent, keeping wearers warm and dry in challenging weather conditions.

Thermal layers, essential for the season, are also part of the launch. Opt for hoodies and long-sleeved half-zip tops made from heavy molleton, fluffy knits, fisherman-ribbed wool, and mink-style faux fur.
