Bugatti Partners Adidas To Create ‘Crazyfast’ Hypercar-Inspired Soccer Boots

What do you get when you mix supercars and sportswear? The Adidas x Crazyfast Bugatti, it seems, as the two brands recently joined forces on a limited-edition soccer boot.

Engineered for speed and agility, the kicks draw inspiration from the automaker’s luxury hypermobiles, in particular, its “Form Follows Performance” design philosophy.

At the heart of these boots—of which only 99 pairs will be available—is Adidas’ innovative Speedframe sole plate technology, delivering both lightweight construction and a rigid plate for rapid acceleration on the field.

The Aerocage innovation, an engineered lining that hugs the mid-foot, ensures optimal support and stability, while the Aeropacity Speedskin, a single-layer breathable monomesh, enhances both speed and stability.

To replicate the carbon fiber found in luxury supercars, the boot even features an inlay made of the same material in its tooling.

One distinctive feature of the X Crazyfast Bugatti is the semi-transparent mono-mesh material on the mid-foot cage, incorporating a flash of Bugatti Blue.

This particular shade of blue pays homage to early Bugatti Grand Prix cars, making it an unmistakable signature of the brand.

Emblazoned on the boot’s side are two phrases that encapsulate the values of both labels: “Impossible is Nothing” and “Create the Incomparable.”

Interestingly, a subtle tribute to Ettore Bugatti, the company’s founder, can be found in the timeless insignia that repeats across the rear three-quarters of the boot.

The shoes will come packaged in a unique box designed with an exterior inspired by the weave pattern of carbon fiber.
