Gatorade Unleashes Mystery Flavor Alongside Color-Changing Football Boots
Gatorade has teamed up with Colorado Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders and sneaker designer Mache to introduce its latest limited-edition flavor in the form of a surprise.
During the pregame of Colorado’s homecoming game against the Oregon State Beavers, Sanders proudly sported the color-changing cleats, which transformed to reveal the drink brand’s brand-new drink.
Created by Marche using thermal pigment materials that have the ability to change colors when exposed to cold temperatures, the shoes turned from a crisp white with retro Gatorade green accents to its vibrant modern-day signature bright orange.
Once temperatures hit below 72°F, the kicks revealed the launch of Mystery Flavor Blackberry Raspberry—now available for purchase online and in stores.
