Enter the Dyson CleanTrace, a techy companion for its the trusty vacuum cleaner that utilizes augmented reality to transform your cleaning routine.

Designed to pair with the Dyson Gen5detect vacuum, the CleanTrace works with the LiDAR technology in your smartphone to map the room, and an AR overlay on your screen shows exactly where you’ve done your chores. No more wondering if you hit that corner by the bookshelf.

Not only that, once you’re finished conquering the fluff, you can make a final scan of the room with your phone to identify any missed areas. The Gen5detect’s built-in technology also acoustically detects and counts dust particles, giving you scientific proof of a deep clean.

The Dyson CleanTrace will make its way to stores from June 2024.
