Ever dreamed of sleeping under the stars in your Tesla? The idea sounds better than how it usually is, until now. Designed specifically for Tesla Model Y and Model 3, Snuuzu promises hotel-like comfort for micro-campers, blending convenience with adventure in the ultimate road trip package.
Snuuzu was born in 2021 from the vision of Omar Tegel, his son Per, and Djai Bereiter. Tegel, a Tesla enthusiast from the early days of the Model S, discovered the hard way that turning his Tesla into a makeshift RV was less cozy than he hoped. Finding no suitable mattress for his needs, he took matters into his own hands, leading to the creation of Snuuzu.

This mattress is no ordinary bed-in-a-bag. It’s an inflatable foam mattress specifically designed for the Tesla Model Y and Model 3. The multilayer construction begins with a soft, breathable Lyocell top, followed by memory foam for that plush suite feel.

Given the unique layout of a Tesla’s interior, the mattress includes a patented layer that ensures a flat sleeping surface, overcoming the challenge of the car’s non-flat floor. This is topped off with a durable, waterproof base to withstand road trip rigors.

Snuuzu is tailored to fit two people comfortably, and can be inflates in less than two minutes with a built-in battery-powered pump. Deflation is just as swift, and the mattress packs down into a 29 x 12.6-inch duffel bag, fitting neatly into the Model Y/3’s sub-trunk. Weighing 23.4 pounds, the mattress’s battery supports up to five full inflate/deflate cycles before needing a four-hour recharge via USB-C.
The double bed is also built for personal comfort, with the ability ot adjust its firmness at the push of a button.
