A flashy new LEGO build has dashed over with a roar. The toymaker has unleashed the LEGO Lamborghini Countach 5000 Quattrovalvole, paying homage to the original 1980s supercar.

Far from being your kid’s toy car, this in-scale model for grownups encompasses 1,506 pieces, capturing its speedy muse’s sleek angles. The Countach’s signature scissor doors are faithfully recreated here, along with a working steering wheel.

The Countach wasn’t just about show, though. It was a force to be reckoned with on the road. LEGO hasn’t skimped on the details under the hood, either, for this brick-built beast sports a peek-a-boo view of a realistically designed V12 engine.
