Behr Predicts Top Colors Set To Sweep Architecture & Interiors In 2025

Behr is painting a picture of architecture and interior design in the very near future with its first-ever Commercial Color Forecast, imagined for 2025. First presented earlier this month at NeoCon in Chicago, the curation highlights how commercial spaces—whether workplaces, multifamily housing, or healthcare environments—can be brightened up.

Drawing from input by design experts at top architectural firms, the array comprises five distinct themes with one common thread: “No Clear Boundaries.” The versatile palettes, ranging from neutral to bold, and from cool to warm, are designed to leave lots of room, quite literally, for creative interpretation in both residential and commercial projects.

As outlined by Erika Woelfel, vice president of color and creative services at Behr, the forward-thinking spectrum swirls “historical references and future outlooks” to create spaces that resonate with contemporary needs while offering a nod to timeless aesthetics. Preview the five themes below.

Limitless Whites

This palette features warm, “barely-there” whites that serve as a versatile foundation for any design, pairing with a wide range of other colors.
