Manchester City Raises Eyebrows With New Club Font Designed By Noel Gallagher

Manchester City’s 2024/25 season is kicking off with a conversation starter beyond the pitch. The English football club has unveiled a new font for player names and numbers on their shirts, designed by none other than music legend and lifelong City fan, Noel Gallagher.
The font, a direct adaptation of Gallagher’s handwriting, now graces the back of Manchester City’s shirts for the upcoming season, resulting in a distinctively casual and cartoonish aesthetic. It’s not quite like the elegant script or sleek typeface some fans might come to expect.

The font will be used on the Citizens’ shirts for Champions League, FA Cup, and Carabao Cup matches, adhering to regulations that allow for different type choices in these competitions compared to the Premier League.
