Coca-Cola is raising a can to the City of Lights with a special beverage series launched in France to coincide with the 2024 Paris Olympics and Paralympics, centering on a message of global unity.
Building on the heartwarming concept of its international Olympics campaign, It’s Magic When the World Gets Together, the cans are illustrated with halves of an embrace, with the iconic Coca-Cola logo snuggled within the space where two hands would meet.
The magic unfolds when two cans are joined together, forming a complete picture of a pair in a hug. The stirring imagery, designed by three French artists—Laura Normand, Aurélia Durand, and Bruno Mangyoku—conveys a zest for sharing and connection.

These emotive cans will be available exclusively in France.
The French execution ties into a broader Coca-Cola campaign, which celebrates the “Real Magic” of human connection and inclusivity at the Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024.

Developed by WPP Open, led by Ogilvy with support from EssenceMediaCom, VML, and Hogarth, the global initiative—including a brand film—hinges on the company’s iconic hug motif as the theme for Paris 2024, showcasing how sports transcend borders and backgrounds and unites people in a celebration of shared humanity.
