Cadbury is offering fans a sweet trip down memory lane with modern technology that, interestingly, makes its 200-year legacy all the more accessible. The My Cadbury Era tool invites chocolate lovers to be the stars of classic Cadbury posters from the past.
My Cadbury Era, created by VCCP London’s digital experience agency Bernadette, utilizes the power of generative artificial intelligence to melt themselves into the confectioner’s history. On an even tastier note, participants are automatically entered into a prize draw for a chance to win £200, denoting the number of years Cadbury has been around.

To get started, visitors can upload a selfie before choosing from an assortment of seven iconic Cadbury advertisements spanning different eras, including ‘My Showtime Era’ and ‘My Employee of the Month Era’. The tool then blends their likenesses into their chosen poster.
More than just a stroke of nostalgia, the site aims to foster a sense of community and diversity, offering customization options to ensure fans feel accurately represented, aided by input from a prominent LGBTQ+ charity. Explore the tool here.
