Once you pop a look, you can’t stop… staring. Pringles has rolled out limited-edition Christmas packaging that features its mascot, Mr P, in full-body form, instead of the traditional depictions of a floating head with a bow tie and mustache. The holiday makeover appears on four popular flavors, each fronted by distinct festive versions of the character. Needless to say, some things are better left unseen.

On the Sour Cream & Onion can, Mr P is dressed as a Christmas elf, complete with festive green attire—striped leggings, pointy slippers, and all—to match the packaging. Expressing his thoughts on the design, writer David Hering, who shared the image on X (formerly Twitter), groused that it “feels like a violation.”

I feel strongly that we shouldn’t see his body. Feels like a violation pic.twitter.com/nPi3C9rhIo

He’s taller than I’d imagined.

Meanwhile, the Original flavor’s red packaging depicts the mascot as Santa Claus. There’s also Mr P as a penguin on the BBQ-flavored chips and Mr P as a snowman on the Cheddar Cheese version.

For those who feel less is more, and more is downright offensive, the festive editions extend to gift-sized canisters designed to be stocking stuffers. You only see the top half of Mr P on these.

I like to think he’s just got his face stuck through one of those photo cutouts.
