Mattel’s 2025 Lunar New Year Barbie wears a red qipao, also known as a cheongsam, which combines classic styling with contemporary touches. The number showcases a mermaid silhouette while upholding traditional features like the distinctive mandarin collar. Meanwhile, sheer bell sleeves evoke movement and grace, and are envisioned to “flutter as she claps to a festive lion dance.”
