A Gordon Ramsay apology probably wasn’t anywhere near your 2025 bingo card, yet here we are. The celebrity chef appears to be trading his signature fire for something a little more mellow—virtual farming. Notorious for his sharp tongue and no-nonsense kitchen critiques, he’s released a public apology video addressing those he has insulted in the past, particularly anyone he has called a “donkey.”
As it turns out, this unexpected gesture from the seemingly calm, changed man comes as part of a collaboration with Hay Day, Supercell’s popular mobile farming game.
Taking to TikTok, Ramsay notes, “I used to feel so angry… To all of you, honestly, I’m so sorry.” A special mention goes out to “everyone I’ve called a donkey,” he adds.
