Adidas Originals is setting off the firecrackers in China with a sporty spin on the classic Tang suit for the 2025 Lunar New Year.

Designed in premium suede leather (¥999 / US$137) or denim (¥1,299 / US$178), the piece retains hallmark Tang suit elements like a stand-up collar and toggle closures while introducing intricate embroidery inspired by Chinese culture.

Shades like blue, red, and mustard nod to the classic satin garments from the Tang dynasty, while the recognizable Trefoil symbol on the front and three stripes lining the sleeves anchor the outerwear in the present.
The Tang suit carries historical significance, symbolizing prosperity and unity. Here, Adidas celebrates time-honored customs and makes them trendy for the track field.
