For 2026, Pinterest is reading the room and the living room, serving up a palette that reflects how people actually want to live now.

The latest Pinterest Palette is shaped by how users are engaging with color across interiors, fashion, beauty, and design. According to the platform, homes are increasingly treated as personal sanctuaries rather than trend showrooms. That mindset shows up in the data. 42% percent of global respondents say they only lean into trends if they genuinely suit them, often remixing ideas to feel more personal.

So what’s the mood ring for the year ahead? As it seems, it’s a swirl of five core shades: Cool Blue, Jade, Plum Noir, Wasabi, and Persimmon. Together, they sketch out a year that balances calm with intensity, softness with bite.

The array is built from three layers of insight. Human behavior signals show what people are gravitating toward. Visual search technology reads how colors appear together across categories, not just individually. Finally, in-house color experts translate those patterns into cultural context and specific shades.

Cool Blue

Cool Blue lands with a quiet confidence. It is crisp and icy without feeling sterile, bringing a sense of calm that works across walls, textiles, and even fashion.

Searches for “cool blue” are up 85%, while glacier-inspired aesthetics have climbed 35%. The appeal lies in its ability to cool things down visually while still feeling welcoming, especially when paired with warmer materials like wood or stone.

Jade

Jade steps in as a richer, more grounded green. Sitting somewhere between mint and moss, it feels serene without drifting into pastel territory.

Interest in jade textures is up 40%, while jade accessories have surged 135%. This shade signals a shift toward greens that feel intentional and layered, working just as well in statement furniture as in small decorative accents.

Plum Noir

Plum Noir leans into depth and drama. This dark purple blends burgundy undertones with a soft brown warmth, creating a color that feels moody but not heavy.

Wasabi

Wasabi brings the jolt. This electric chartreuse is not shy, and that is how its flavor is carried.
