Bizarre NYC Souvenirs That Are Remarkably Accurate

By Mikelle Leow, 14 Feb 2017

Are you guilty of keeping a stash of “I Love NY” shirts? Well, news flash—they’re made somewhere else, and they’re sold everywhere in the world.

Graphic designer Fenghe Luo created ‘WTF NYC SOUVENIRS’, a brand of souvenirs that comes closer to the city’s personality than the T-shirts ever will—and they’re so strikingly accurate, even New Yorkers want them.

“Inspired by the everyday stories and overlooked details of urban living, WTF NYC designs products that resonate with people in the city, redefining souvenirs with a touch of humor and a sense of belonging.”

Her creations include a hot dog food cart umbrella shrunk into the size of an everyday umbrella, and a garbage can snow globe that leans towards “trashy”, but still remains classy.
