Gorgeous DIY ‘Kirigami’ Paper Models Of Iconic Frank Lloyd Wright Buildings

By Kylie Woon, 30 Jun 2017

For reknowned American architect Frank Lloyd Wright’s 150th birthday, artist Marc Hagan-Guirey and Laurence King Publishing have produced a book of 14 kirigami paper models that you can cut out and fold yourself.

Kirigami is similar to origami, but incorporates paper cutting into the process.

The book will contain some of Wright’s iconic buildings, such as the Guggenheim Museum and everyone’s dream house, Fallingwater. It will be available for sale via Laurence King Publishing on 17 June 2017.

Marc Hagan-Guirey has previously worked with paper to create intricate Star Wars and famous horror movie scenes with paper—the latter is also found in book form here.

Look at the beautiful, minimalistic models below, and follow Marc Hagan-Guirey’s work on Facebook and Instagram.
