WhatsApp is testing a ‘delete for everyone’ feature, so you can finally say goodbye to drunk texts and silly confessions that aren’t likely to go well.

According to famed WhatsApp leaker WABetaInfo, the app is experimenting with the feature for both iOS and Android devices. The function is said to be working successfully.

This isn’t exactly new information for techies who have been keeping track of WhatsApp’s progress—the feature apparently appeared in the app’s August beta version for Windows mobile devices.

Even better news for people guilty of sending regretful, late night messages: un-sent messages will be wiped out from the notification center, according to a screenshot by WABetaInfo.

WhatsApp isn’t the first to consider an “unsend” feature—a ‘delete for everyone’ feature already exists in messenger apps like Telegram and Viber.

It’s unclear when the feature will start rolling out, so you might want to refrain from sending highly-charged texts to your ex for the time being.
