Hello Kitty Cheers To 43 Years With ‘Hello Kitty Wine’ & ‘Barbie Hello Kitty’

Hello Kitty, the lovable fictional character produced by Japanese company Sanrio, is celebrating its 43rd birthday with two collaborations.

The first has Sanrio teaming up with Italian wine company Torti Wines to release ‘Hello Kitty Wines’. The range comprises: ‘Sweet Pink Sparkling Wine’ (US$27.95), ‘Sparkling Rosè’ (US$39.95), ‘Sparkling Rosè Special Edition’ (US$29.95) that’s limited to 6,000 bottles, ‘Pinot Nero Vinified in White’ (US$24.50) and ‘Pinot Noir’ (US$24.95).

The entire collection costs US$147.30, combo pack comprising the first three types retails at US$97.85, and the ‘Sweet Pink Sparkling Wine’ with gift box costs US$29.95 per bottle.

If you prefer not to drink to the occasion, there’s the ‘Barbie Hello Kitty’ (US$100), complete with the character’s signature red bows and themed accessories for the doll. Pre-orders for ‘Barbie Hello Kitty’ opens on 1 November via Barbie and mid-November via Sanrio.
