There’s probably nothing worse than getting your shoes soaked in the rain. The cold, sloshy feeling of soggy footwear defeats the purpose of putting them on in the first place.

Never let unforeseeable weather rain on your parade again. Converse has collaborated with Gore—the inventor of the durable, weather-proof ‘GORE-TEX’ fabric—to design a set of shoes that will keep your feet dry, come rain or shine. These additions are part of the brand’s new ‘Urban Utility’ line.

Together with streetwear label Slam Jam and Los Angeles-based artist Cali Thornhill Dewitt, Converse has rolled out hardy remixes of classics like ‘Chuck Taylor All Stars’ and ‘Jack Purcells’.

It’s important to note that these aren’t true-blue rain boots, but they will certainly protect you from the elements more effectively.

Part of the new collection can be purchased via the Slam Jam store, and more items will be added starting 5 December 2017.
