In response to dupes of its iconic functionalities from larger social network players, Snapchat emerged with a feature-heavy overhaul on Wednesday that is “organized around your relationships and personalized just for you!”

In a true snap-and-go style, the app’s co-founder and CEO Evan Spiegel has summed up “the new Snapchat” in just a minute.

Snapchat has shifted Chats and Stories sent by friends to the left of the app’s UI. Content from publishers, creators, and the community, have been moved to the right.

“Separating social from media has allowed us to build the best way to communicate with friends and the best way to watch great content—while addressing many of the problems that plague the internet today,” the company explains.
