Apple has ventured into augmented reality with ‘ARKit’, though it hasn’t used the technology in wearables along the same vein as the ‘Apple Watch’.

As someone with keen foresight (no pun intended), product designer Taeyeon Kim believes Apple just might make glasses cool again. He’s imagined a line of ‘Apple Smart Glasses’ applied with the sleek styles of iPhones and flaunted with colors ‘Rose Gold’, ‘Silver’, ‘Gold’, and ‘Jet Black’.

The concept shows Apple products at their best: stylish, clean, and minimal. The eyewear pays homage to former CEO Steve Jobs’ round glasses and comes with detachable temples akin to the band on the ‘Apple Watch’.

The clever, precise renderings give plenty of reason to believe that Apple might adopt this lightweight and fuss-free option should it decide to make AR headsets.
