Your domesticated feline friends deserve homes of their own, and this adorable collection is just purr-fect for them.

A pair of Taiwanese architects have started A Cat Thing, a brand of modular cardboard furniture you can piece together to create “mini buildings” for tiny “jelly bean” paws.

“Humans need a warm and safe environment to live in: the same goes for cats,” the designers say. “We understood the importance of safety and space for cats in the days we started living with them: they seemed to feel more comfortable and relaxed in a small and narrow space.”

Drawing inspiration from real-life architecture, A Cat Thing uses four geometry types to fashion single ‘rooms’, ‘living rooms’, ‘balconies’, and ‘ramps’.

The best part is these fixtures are incredibly versatile: they can exist alone or you can creatively match them with other pieces to suit your pet’s personality or activity level.

“No matter how you decide to assemble them, the resulted structure will keep the same sense of design and harmony.”
