Toy and Comic Convention
With key exhibitors from Lego to Nintendo to HASBRO, the convention was a hotspot for key players in region.
Greeted by a artist graffiti wall, cosplayers decked in elaborate costumes, and character appearances at the entrance of the convention, stepping into the hall was a bustling world of brilliant creativity and talent.
With massive queues for autograph signings by celebrity artists such as Brian Bolland of well-loved comics Batman, Wonder Woman and Tank Girl to Devil Robots, creator of the iconic TO-FU Oyako toys, as well as Tokidoki, recognized throughout the world from his collaborations with brands such as Onitsuka Tiger, Hello Kitty and LeSportsac to name a few, merchandise by artists were also snapped up quickly, with Tokidoki being one of the first to be sold out.Not only doubling in size, the convention also doubled in content, with an extension to 3 days, including a full day of conference sessions conducted by world-class players from Lego, Kidrobot, Zhao Wei films to animation studio Imaginary friends.
With rows of exhibitiors showcasing their creations and comic artists, the convention provided an excellent platform for industry leaders to converge, exchange of ideas and network, as well as influence pop-culture trends and stimulate growth in creative businesses throughout Asia.
