If anything, the power of the online social movement prized one thing above all: integration.

Tweets, “Share on Facebook”, RSS feeds -- the entire way we plunk about the web relies on, well, other people Digging whatever’s newsworthy before we can get our grubby fingers on them.

And of course, it isn’t just as simple as sharing content. Everything gets mixed into the social cocktail: mediums, technologies, celebrities are all mashed up, thrown into the hype machine, and come out looking as flash as Apple’s new iPhone.

The past two weeks, TAXI saw Nike and Volkswagen get creative with site-specific but medium-blending advertising campaigns; Twitter getting up close and personal with Foursquare (and you); and models becoming creative directors, to name just a few new points of interface and integration.

So what we did at TAXI this week was (you guessed it) to combine our content with The Creative Finder and JobsTAXI.

Tightening the Network
One thing you might have noticed on TAXI’s Daily News section is how we’ve integrated portfolios from The Creative Finder and featured jobs from JobsTaxi into the sidebar of each news article.

As we frequently update our news several times a day, this just means more exposure for our members as readers will be able to view featured artwork alongside the actual article.

The added JobsTaxi section will provide solutions and opportunities for both creative professionals reading the industry news, as well as TAXI members’ whose works are on display.

We’ve also redesigned the Daily News page; readers can now catch up on the most popular articles over the past week in case they missed it the first time.

In case our Twitter feed isn’t quite enough, we’ve introduced three separate RSS feeds for the TAXI network: one for our Daily News section; another for the editorial features; and, for the photo-buffs, a feed from our Image of the Day stream.
