Google’s Chrome OS is expected to make waves around the computing world. Cloud-based, lightweight and designed for netbooks and tablets, might be the ‘future’ of computing. And it seems Google wants to take on gaming, too.
At a recent video game developer conference, a Chrome team showed off the new app store, which will bring games directly to the Chrome browser. It’s the latest attempt by Google to wrest the app crown away from Apple, which has the largest app store by far.
