Football star Chad Ochocinco of Cincinnati Bengals has been fined US$25,000 by NFL.
The reason? The football star's compulsive tweeting habits led him to use Twitter, even during a game. True to form, Ochocinco was quick to tweet an apology to NFL, noting that this was the first ever instance in which "Twitter hasn't made me money but cost me money.”
MG Siegler of TechCrunch suggests that Facebook could take a tip from Twitter and adopt a friend/follower system. Although Siegler does note that the security concerns related to the new Facebook Places feature are overblown, the present Facebook privacy system is still in critical need of simplification.
