Does ‘Teachbook’ bring to mind the name of a certain other social networking website?

Facebook sees the association and is taking issue with Teachbook's “misappropriation of the Facebook brand” by filing a suit against the online community for teachers. The outcome of the trademark dispute could become Facebook's legal precedent for other similar cases in the future.

Facebook has also failed to come to an agreement with Twitter on the friend look-up feature for Twitter’s Facebook app. Two months after the new function went online (and worked for a grand total of five minutes), Twitter has given up and had it removed from its app.
