These users tend to overcompensate for their low self-esteem by becoming such social butterflies with the all-too-frequent wall and photo posts.
The New York Times advises users to exert more caution with their self-promotion efforts; while an active online presence helps future employers to locate you, a notorious reputation on Facebook could just as easily damage your job chances.
