While bookworms continue to debate over whether eBooks are preferable to paperbacks, the Project Management course facilitators at the University of Notre Dame have already picked a side. The class of 40 students will be required to use the iPad as an eReader and are encouraged to use it for “everything else in daily life” as well.

Apple is also moving into TV program rental with its new Apple TV. The low price of the programs that it offers—episodes of Glee and Modern Family are available at 99 cents each—may pressure other media companies into offering similar prices, just to keep up with the competition.
