Mistakes That Inspire

Take it or not, there is no way we can do without mistakes. This is because we are made of flesh and bones, the trademark of mortals. Most of us have made one mistake or the other in the past that we paid very dearly. We also learn one thing or the other from such mistake. The fact is that mistakes have their costs. There is no way we will not pay for a mistake no matter how insignificant the cost seems. The question that comes to mind goes thus; is mistake unfriendly at all times? Is it possible for something good to result from mistakes?

When asked ordinarily, we may not want to have anything doing with mistake because of its inevitable consequences. But fact has it that reasonable mistake is a natural phenomenon that will definitely occur irrespective of how meticulous we are. This kind of mistake is different from the silly ones that can annoy a day old baby. Reasonable mistakes are very creative and inspiring, leading to new innovations. Do you know that corn flakes came into existence when boiled wheat was forgotten in the kitchen overnight! The result of that 'near silly mistake' then resulted into what you and I cannot do without today. Another thing that I will also like to point out here is that every mistake usually looks silly initially, and it is only when it eventually becomes beneficial that we cherish it as reasonable.

The development that is conspicuous in our society today can still be traced to mistakes. To be very realistic, mistakes have the inspiring capabilities in making us what we are today. Most people actually become successful in what they first described as mistakes. Mistakes can be very unfriendly when it has devastating effects. I cannot but say that mistakes can be so costly, when most especially its long-term effects are unpalatable. It is not therefore a crime to make mistakes if one can learn something new in the process. The most important factor that is applicable to both reasonable and silly mistakes is the possibility of subsequent improvements. This in particular, differentiates the strong from the weak. If you can learn from your mistakes, then you will definitely be persistent and at the same time, be well motivated to face future challenges. There is no point in quitting simply because you made a mistake that seems very costly to you. The fact that you need to know is that mistakes are surely meant to be made and being cautious will only determine whether such mistake will be silly or not.
