If you're a creative, consider buying/selling art to help your peers in Japan and Christchurch.
As the twin natural disasters and pressing nuclear concerns leave Japan devastated, we
feel that as a global creative network we should rally creatives everywhere to support their
peers in our network.
It's no secret the East Asian nation is home to many fantastic creative professionals,
and to see their proud tradition stalled because of the disasters would be a shame. So
starting immediately till the end of March, we will be donating 100% of our profits from new
account sign-ups and portfolio extensions to help Japanese creatives get back on their
feet.
Alternatively, creatives can sell their artwork on The Bazaar to raise funds for their peers affected by the crisis.
We also haven't forgotten the quake that ravaged Christchurch a few weeks ago, and will
be splitting the proceeds between affected creatives of both disasters.
Whatever little we can do, we hope it fills a niche that others may overlook. On top of the financial contribution received, we will be providing the following support to the benefactors and beneficiaries:
- All creatives who wish to sell their works to help affected creatives will receive a one-month portfolio account free of charge. All proceeds from the sale of artworks will go to other creatives affected by the Japan/Christchurch earthquakes. All artworks will also be promoted to raise funds for the affected creatives.
- All current members who wish to sell their works to help affected creatives will receive a one-month free portfolio account extension.
- All current members who make a financial contribution will receive an 18-month portfolio account extension at no additional charge. (optional)
- All non-members who make a financial contribution will receive an 18-month portfolio account extension at no additional charge. (optional)
- All current members from affected areas in Japan and New Zealand will receive a free one-time 12-month extension to their portfolio accounts to help them restart career opportunities.
- All non-members from affected areas in Japan and New Zealand can write in to apply to become a beneficiary of the contribution, and will also receive free 12-month portfolio accounts to connect with new opportunities.

receive aid, do contact us and we will include you as a beneficiary. We'll also give you a
portfolio on us, a small gift we hope will help restart any career opportunities.
We will announce the contribution tally on 12 April, and distribute the aid evenly among
TAXI creatives in Japan and New Zealand who have responded to our calls.
