Natalie B. (Natayan) is a young designer and illustrator originally from Brisbane, Australia, currently living and working in Tokyo. Natalie completed a Bachelor of Design, majoring in Communication Design, at the Queensland College of Art in 2007 and had been enjoying life as a graphic designer in a highly regarded and award-winning  design studio up until her relocation to Tokyo in late 2008.  She started illustrating more seriously the following year in early 2009 and since that time has had her work published in an expanding list of online and print publications as her portfolio and illustrative style continue to evolve. Her illustration work varies from elaborately detailed depictions, vivid colour and structured compositions, to spontaneous and simplified carefree approaches - scribbles in black and white, loose pen and ink drawings and mixed-media collage.
