Twisting Balloons, Artist Recreates Master Works
As a tongue-in-cheek homage to the great works of art, Larry Moss twists balloons to fashion them into the Mona Lisa or American Gothic’s pitchfork-wielding farmer.
Moss said his work, which includes modern artists like Warhol and Pollock as well, is also “inspired in part by the perception of my medium as just a child’s toy”, reports Designboom. “I decided to create the works of the great masters to gently challenge people’s preconceived notions of what is…and to make them smile!”
