DDB Asia Pacific has announced the appointment of Shiggy File as Regional Planning Director, effective immediately. In his new role, File will work with key multinational clients Unilever, McDonald's & PepsiCo. He is based in Hong Kong.
"We have been looking for the right person for some time. As everyone knows, Asia is a complicated region with a diverse set of cultures. Our multinationals not only need a regional perspective but they also need to understand the differences country-by-country," said John Zeigler, President & CEO of DDB Asia Pacific.
"With DDB's recent appointment as incumbent agency for Unilever's Lipton, and with our role with McDonald's and Pepsi growing in Asia, we needed someone who can help create powerful local relevance for global brands in the region."
Prior to DDB, File was the Regional Planning Director on the Colgate business at Young & Rubicam. He started his career with AC Nielsen, and has also worked in Leo Burnett, Lintas and Ogilvy & Mather. File's multinational client experience includes McDonald's, Procter & Gamble, PepsiCo, Nestle, Audi and Unilever.
