Valhalla, N.Y., August, 2007 - FUJIFILM U.S.A., Inc. announced that it is studying the best pricing structure for its color negative photo film products in the U.S. marketplace.
This follows a recent announcement by its parent company, FUJIFILM Corporation, regarding worldwide price increases for its color negative photo film products slated for October 2007.
FUJIFILM U.S.A., Inc., Valhalla, NY, is a U.S. marketing subsidiary of FUJIFILM Corporation, Tokyo, Japan, providing digital and analog photographic Imaging Systems, Recording/Storage Media and Motion Picture Film products and services to consumers, professionals and businesses.
Globally, Fujifilm has undertaken intensive structural reforms to adjust to the harsh market conditions in the photo imaging business. However despite these efforts to reduce fixed costs and improve productivity, it can't continue to absorb the rapid rise in costs of silver, oil and other raw materials.
