As a part of the Distinguished Alumni Lecture Series, SVA alumnus Patrick McDonnell (Media Studies 1978) will speak about his work as a comic artist.
McDonnell is best known for his comic strip MUTTS, which he created in 1994 and now appears in over 700 newspapers in 20 countries.
In 2005, McDonnell embarked on a children's book career, publishing his first book The Gift of Nothing, which became a New York Times bestseller.
